Kite flying on a windy day!
Posted on Monday 7 May 2018We took the Kindergarten Kite to the School oval. We had a run. It was fun. We noticed the shape of the kite. We watched it fly many times in the gusty winds. It didn't want to stay in the air and sometimes it flew down towards us very quickly and we had to watch out! We decided the tail was just for decoration.
Bin audit with Sienna and Kiara (year 5 students)
Posted on Thursday 3 May 2018Last term these Aldgate Primary School year five/six students came in regularly to empty the Kindergarten recycling bins. We noticed they were knowledgeable and efficient. We invited them to come back some time and teach us what goes in which bin? One of the students was Evelyn's big sister Sienna. She certainly knows a lot about recycling!
Grug and the Rainbow excursion
Posted on Wednesday 11 April 2018What a great Excursion! The performance was very entertaining. Each an every one of us were enthralled throughout. We laughed, we danced, we watched in awe. Our group’s behaviour throughout the whole day was exemplary. The bus ride was excitng. It was a really fun excursion for everyone.
Chicks Hatching
Posted on Wednesday 28 February 2018We have been watching chickens hatch and grow. Henny Penny Hatchings delivered the eggs Monday 19 February. Two chicks had already hatched. Each day we were delighted to see more chicks.
