Our facilities

Our outdoor learning is spacious and provides children with a wide range of playspaces to explore, including bush cubbies, a dry creek bed and water course, a mud kitchen and mud patch, chicken coop, swings, large patch of lawn, outdoor stage and a completely weatherproof sandpit.  Shade is in abundance.

We are responsible for the care and regeneration of a small patch of remnant native vegetation we call the ‘Kindy Wirra’ (‘wirra’ is the Peramangk word for ‘bush’) The Wirra is potential Southern Brown Bandicoot habitat and we often see a wide variety of native birds and other animals during our visits. The Wirra provides children with many learning opportunities across the early years curriculum throughout their time at Kindergarten, while fostering a love of and respect for the natural world.

The indoor area is filled with natural light thanks to the many windows. Acoustic boards are installed on most interior walls to improve the acoustics. There is a great deal of space available for educators to be able to provide a diverse variety of learning experiences.

We welcome you to come take a look for yourself! Contact the director to make a time for a tour or just pop in at your convenience.
