We took the Kindergarten Kite to the School oval. We had a run. It was fun. We noticed the shape of the kite. We watched it fly many times in the gusty winds. It didn't want to stay in the air and sometimes it flew down towards us very quickly and we had to watch out! We decided the tail was just for decoration.
Last term these Aldgate Primary School year five/six students came in regularly to empty the Kindergarten recycling bins. We noticed they were knowledgeable and efficient. We invited them to come back some time and teach us what goes in which bin? One of the students was Evelyn's big sister Sienna. She certainly knows a lot about recycling!
What a great Excursion! The performance was very entertaining. Each an every one of us were enthralled throughout. We laughed, we danced, we watched in awe. Our group’s behaviour throughout the whole day was exemplary. The bus ride was excitng. It was a really fun excursion for everyone.
We have been watching chickens hatch and grow. Henny Penny Hatchings delivered the eggs Monday 19 February. Two chicks had already hatched. Each day we were delighted to see more chicks.
Thank You Ilkoo for sharing some traditions of the Korean New Year celebrations with our group.
Rebecca from Greenhills Living came back and we read the book called Pete the Planting Pal. We found lots of Potatoes!
