What to do with a QUESTION

Posted on Monday 6 March 2017

Today and last Tuesday (so, both groups) learnt about what they can do if they have question.

Bridget used her example of a resource used at kindy  at the playdough table and spoke about how discoveries were made, answers were found, more questions were asked and what was learnt.  It turns out those things are Sacred Lotus seed pods and the lotus plant is used and eaten in many different ways.  At kindy we tasted: raw lotus root, baked lotus root, raw seeds, boiled lotus seeds and candied lotus seeds.  We learnt that lotus leaf is used to wrap sticky rice at YumCha and lotus petals make tea taste delicious.  We discovered that finding the answer to our questions can be fun and rewarding.  We hope many questions are asked by the kindergarten children.
